About
Us...
Here
is a picture of our home. We live in Pacific, MO, about 45
minutes outside of St. Louis. We live on 3 acres and have lots
of room for the dogs to run and play.
We
live here Monday through Friday and most of the winter. But as
soon as the warm weather pops out we spend most of our weekends
(unless I am at a dog show) at our Lake house. The dogs love it
here and spend a lot of their time taking long walks and of course
their favorite S W I M M I N G... I had to spell it out for fear that
they would hear the word...
We
purchased our first Rottweiler in 1994. She was spayed and
owned just as a pet but got us inolved in obedience training. I
(Stacie) spent numerous hours training with her and got her CD in
three consecutive shows. She has taught us so much about the
Rottweiler breed and has given us so much joy. She is now 11
½ years old and continues to teach us daily. Through her
we have meet a lot of wonderful people.
I
purchased my first show male Rottweiler in 1998. INT/AM Ch.
Sierra's B Gota B the Instigator CD, CGC "Neiko".
Through him I met Lisa Kronsberg. She helped me get started in
showing dogs and learning how to show them myself. Lisa taught
me about the Rottweiler breed and also many dogs from the past that I
was never able to see or know. Neiko also got me involved
in showing my own dogs.
Through
dog shows I was priviledged to be introduced to Mr. Perry
Payson. I always admired the dogs that he showed and especially
the ones that he bred. What beautiful animals. Perry and
Brenda thankfully were willing to entrust us with one of their
beautiful show males out of his Trista x Elvis litter. When I
went to see the litter I was in awe. Such consistency and
beauty out of all 7 puppies. Picking out Oso that day was such
a thrill but difficult at the same time, I would have taken any
one of them home that day. Due to Oso being such a wonderful
speciman of the breed, we then purchased a bitch out of the repeat
breeding Elvis x Trista. That is where Emmy came from.
Being
involved with Rottweilers has allowed us to meet a lot of wonderful
people. Although we still have a lot to learn I am very thankful that
I have been surrounded by great people. Success is only as good
as those that you surround yourself with. We are very proud of
the dogs that we own. It is through years of careful and
wonderful breeding that they came about. |
